Celia Perceval - A New Sequence of Paintings

After returning from a successful exhibition in Ireland, Celia Perceval is now revelling in her Australian coastal bush surroundings- the subject of her new sequence of paintings, and a subject she is most passionate about. These paintings aim to evoke an 'experience' of the bush- with streaks of luscious and impasto paint rapidly laid down in a flurry of painterly marks.

The soft palette and misty ambience of Min Woo Bangs paintings immediately creates an all involving sense of calm with the viewer, much like the serene nature of the artist himself. Inspired by the early morning mists of the Australian mountain-scapes these works are more about the vagueness and the unknown of the inner self, than of the landscape itself. This exhibition is a debut show by emerging artist Min Woo Bang with Wagner Art Gallery.
