KERRY MCINNIS
Salt Rocks, Ochre Dogs
Ochre Cliff oil on canvas 91 x 101
My painting is a response to the field work that I do during treks into the landscape – usually into the arid waterways of the Australian bush. I have recently returned from a trip into Tempe Downs of Central Australia, Country of the Luritja people.
The dingoes that enter these painted landscapes are peripheral, somehow insignificant within the enormity of their surroundings. They are, however, in the context of their iconic habitat, appropriate inclusions because they evoke the same spirit. They belong. (Kerry McInnis)

PATRICK CARROLL
Revisionary Landscapes
The Flood Queensland acrylic on canvas 150 x 250cm
There is a revisionary aspect to painting when you are reflecting upon imagery that you are focusing on a lot. This work re-defines my subject matter. As your skills become more complex, your work becomes more complex. Within this growth and in the process of living and painting one acknowledges new developments in skills. (Patrick Carroll)
