Stephen emigrated from England to Australia as a professional sculpture in the early 1980's. He relies heavily on traditionals, classical precedents and careful anatomical observation. Nevertheless, his figurative sculptures are executed with a refined elegance and beauty. His work has been comissioned by numerous companies and collections throughout Australia and Asia including: Hilton Hotels in Sydney, Adelaide, Shanghai, Seoul, Bankok; Qantas; KPMG; Crown Casino, Melbourne; AMP; ANA Hotel, Sydney; Park Grand, Sydney; Park Land, Kuala Lumpur; Imperial Hotel, Kuala Lumpur; St George Bank and numerous private collections.
