Emerging artist Boyd Sanday's small scale intimate vignettes are windows for mature contemplation. This new exhibition Billowing Winter is about the sublime sky, the crushing and monumental strength of extreme light and the moments before and after the storm, when there is a sense of peace. Billowing Winter engages the viewer on a mindful rather than a physical level, with an atmospheric palette of ashen, silvery and smoky greys - a scraped, textured surface indicating time and memory. These engaging works draw the viewer close so they can be read, as one reads a book of thoughts.

Charlottes new bronze sculptures are inspired by people enjoying themselves in the park, such as Walking the Dog and Girl on the Swing. Taught sculpture by her famous father Guy Boyd, these beautiful pieces convey with simplicity, the joy of movement through their fluid gestural shapes.
